Monthly Shooting Challenge CMP Chapter 24952

The monthly challenge is for the local chapter (GBCG) of the CMP. It is a shooting drill/target that members may use to participate monthly. Each of the challenges are design to hopefully help each of us to improve our shooting technique in both the concentrated areas of Accuracy and Defense.
The challenges are divided into two (2) concentrated areas. The member has the option of either of the two (2) areas. Each member may choose either option or may shoot both. The concentrated areas are: Accuracy (Target) or Defense.  Each month hopefully there will be a new challenge in each of the area for participation. You only have to pay the monthly fee if you have completed the challenge, so you lose nothing for trying. Rules are included with each challenge. Challenges (targets) will be available on our local CMP website.
You get to choose monthly if you wish to participate. You may shoot the challenge as many times as you like for the month. You are permitted to shoot this at any safe location.
When you have completed and passed the challenge, please give the donation of $5 for either option ($10 for both) and your target to one of the local CMP directors (correct cash change is appreciated). For each target you will be entered into the yearly prize drawing (at least $100). The challenge season is from January through December. Drawing with be held in January breakfast meeting.
Participants:

  • Will use their own firearms
  • Will use their own ammunition
  • Will use the monthly challenge for either option (or both) target as required.
  • Sign and date the monthly challenge target and submit with fee to a CMP director.

Challenge director decision is final. Any questions/concerns please contact our RSO (listed on CMP website).
